07/26/2016Business Objects is intermittenlty taking 40 seconds to open a query or to login. We use multiple servers and one is most likely timing out then rotating to a working server. We are working with State IT to identify and coreect the problem.
07/25/2016The Business Objects servers are experiencing network connection problems. We are working with the State Network Operatons Center to resolve this issue. We will post further updates as we understand the nature of the problem.

07/08/2016The Business Objects servers became unresponsive to login and query. We are taking action to remedy the issue. Service should restart by 10:30 AM.
07/05/2016SAP has provide a service update to resolve compatibility issues with Business Objects, Java and FireFox. FireFox may now be used for report creation and modification.

06/06/2016CSDW currently recommends using Internet Explorer instead of FireFox. SAP Business Objects has problems with Java 1.8.0_91 when using FireFox. SAP is aware of the problem and plans to resolve it in an upcoming Service Pack. We will update this message when the Service Pack has been installed.

12/23/2015Business Objects is being patched today Wednesday December 23, 2015. Patching will take eight hours and testing will consume another two hours.
12/21/2015Microsoft will no longer support IE 8, 9, or 10 on Windows 7 after January 12th, 2016. DHHS IT is moving all users to IE 11 January 6th, 2016. Please make sure you have IE 11 or your IE is upgraded to IE 11 or switch to FireFox for CSDW. Effective January 16th, 2016 the CSDW web sites will require IE 11 or Firefox for access.

06/22/2015Problems with the Business Objects server maitenance has required restoring the servers. The restore is running much longer than anticipated and we may run until lunchtime Monday.

12/17/2014The DHHS CSDW will be implementing higher levels of SSL (https) encryption on 12/31/2014. These changes will enhance the protection of the secure communications between your workstation and the CSDW servers. Recent security exploits have broken these older forms of encryption making them insecure and unacceptable for use with CSDW which must meet HIPAA, PHI and IRS TPI requirements.
12/17/2014The new SSL encryption works without configuration changes to your browser. It is automatic and should be transparent to the user. These changes work with all the common browsers FireFox, Chrome, Safari and Internet Explorer 8-11. The changes are not compatible with older versions of browsers, many of which should not be used as they have severe security issues.
12/17/2014Among the unsupported browsers are Internet Explore 6 distributed with Windows XP and NetScape. It is recommended for older workstations that cannot upgrade to Internet Explorer 8 or above, such as Windows XP, that you use the latest version of FireFox or Chrome.

Users will have the opportunity to use either the new version above or the older version currently in use between October 24th and October 27th. We will run both versions for a few days for users to become familiar with the new tool. The previous version of CSDW will be shutdown on Monday, October 28th. Keep in mind that queries built or modified between October 18 and October 25, 2013 in the current (older) version will have to be built in the new upgraded version, as they will not be converted automatically.
